Rejuvenated

Grandma and Grandpa Glass took the night shift last night and we got an excellent night's sleep! They said it went well but were staring at each other wondering what it's going to be like with two more in the mix!

We feed Cohen and Sophia every 3 hours, which is the same schedule they were on in the NICU. It is working well so far, though it seems one is ready to eat and the other just wants to sleep, so we wake one up so we can feed them both at the same time. We are finding that Cohen needs an extra feeding as he wakes up starving about an hour after his 4am feeding and still manages to throw down (not up, thankfully) a full bottle (90-100 cc now), so we are now going to try to add a feed at 8pm to see if that will help him sleep for 3 hours in the early morning.

Jazmyn, Cohen & Sophia

Below are some video and photos from yesterday. We are having a blast with Cohen and Sophia home and are anxiously awaiting Finn and Noah's arrival.

Love the pic with Jaz...so protective she is! And how bizarre is that article? Kinda neat. You'll have to put that in the baby book! I really think you ought to try to get in touch with them. That would be some reunion...even though you don't know them! I love keeping up with your blog. The kids are adorable and you are doing awesome!

"I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us- yes, the many good things he has done for the house of Goerlich, according to his compassion and many kindnesses." Isaiah 63:7 (OK-so it says house of Israel, but I know God wants us to personalize and take to heart his promises and praises)
I am loving the videos - wish I could reach in and cuddle them close.
So glad that grandparents are happy to help so everyone gets a chance to sleep, once in awhile anyway.
In Christ's love,

It is so good to see that you are all doing well. I am glad that you have two home now. Hopefully the other two will be soon behind. Hope you have a wonderful day!

What can I say? Miss Sophia takes after her grammie when it comes to sleeping. She did not even move when Cohen started crying. The videos are so cute. Keep them coming. Cohen takes after his dad when it comes to eating.

Keep going with the videos. The crying that Cohen is doing while Sophia just sleeps through it brings back memories. I remember thinking how can anyone sleep through that crying when the twins were newborns. Can't wait to meet all of the babies in person!! They all seem to be growing like crazy!! Praise God.

Give a yell out if your parents need a break---Kara and I will be over in a heartbeat.
