A Mother's Prayer

Dear Lord,
So far today I've done all right. I haven't gossiped, I haven't lost my temper, I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or very indulgent. I'm very grateful for that. But in a few minutes, Lord, I'm going to get out of bed, and from then on, I'm going to need a lot more help. Amen.

Oh, that should be my prayer every morning. I can't even tell you how much help I am in need of these days.  These kiddos are growing up way too fast and I just can't seem to catch up. Here are just a few candid shots and a few good reasons that I need so much prayer throughout the day.

Prayer - stress relief, instant support, and a cry for help. All good to have and so nice they can be wrapped into one package. But I'm sure that sometimes an extra pair of hands would be good too. So I apologize for laughing at the mac'n cheese faces, the spilled water, and "the mines", and wishing I could spend the day watching it all! Much love to each one of you!

Word of Wisdom....
As long as you take time to love on these little ones don't sweat the rest. The "rest" will eventually get done. The kiddos won't, believe me. Take time to look at the leaves blowing in the wind, the raindrops on the window.....Oh, here is a good one..let them play in vanilla pudding, great fun! (maybe right before bath time..haha)
I would love to help you out but distance prevents it, I am sure.(just happened to follow your blog off of Suz's today..would love to help her out one day too!) No, I am not one of those crazy blog stalkers but just love children!

Oh my gosh...I busted out laughing at the table water decorating! My twins do that with milk and juice. Lots of fun...I mean...clean up :-) Thank you for posting the mom's prayer...I hadn't read that in a long time and it's a great reminder.

I need for that to be my daily prayer too! I seem think TOO much about the stuff I am never able to accomplish & less about how they will only be little once! What keeps me going is thinking of twenty years from now when they are in college & we have them all around the dinner table over the Holiday's. That is the light at the end of MY tunnel!

Love, Cathy & the quads

To think they once couldn't hold their own bottles... and now they're dumping their sippy cups! My how they have grown!

You're still beautiful with less hair or not!

Sending a prayer up for you!
