A pleading post to see if you prayer warrior sistas (and brothers) could please pray for Sophia. We found out today that she has come down with pneumonia. Please pray with us that she'll be healed quickly and protection for the rest of the family from coming down with it. Praise God with us that they found it so quickly and that she is still at home getting breathing treatments and antibiotics at this point.
Sophia has had a fever for a few days and woke up this morning with it again. She had no other real symptoms other than being pretty lethargic on Sunday afternoon where she sat on the couch and barely moved for over an hour - very strange for her. So when she wouldn't eat this morning and still had fever we called the pedi to see if we should take her in. They got her in quickly and heard some congestion in her chest which prompted an immediate visit to the diagnostic center where they took x-rays and blood work. By the time we got home, they called with the results that the x-rays proved a small infection starting in the lungs and the blood count test also came back with some concern. So back to the pedi's office we went to get an antibiotic injection. We are able to treat her with further antibiotics and breathing treatments every 4 hrs (followed by light patting on her back to try to get the mucus to break up).
Thank you so much for your prayers and support. We'll keep you updated on how she's doing.

Praying for little Sophia and mommy & daddy too.
Hugs from one mom to another.
I will pray for Sophia, that is so scary.
I cant completely understand the frustration with lockdown adn still getting sick. Our crew was tested this morning for many things because of 103 fever and tested positive for type A Flu. I dont understand where they got it!
Keep us posted on Sophia...
I will definitely keep Sophia & all of you in my prayers! I completely understand the frustration of all it. We went thru something similar last year while still on RSV lockdown. Sending you a huge hug!

"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!" Isaiah 30:18 He hears the prayers, and will answer. What comfort-the God of the universe loves each of us so much that He longs to be gracious, rises to show compassion-joining with you in prayer for Sophia and all. Was so good to visit. Much love always.
I am praying and have my MIL and friends praying.
We so hope that that little Spohia gets well very, very quickly and that the little guys stay healthy. Just remember she is a strong little girlie. You being so observant got her to the doctor & diagnosed so quickly. You are wonderful parents. We love you all.

I am praying right now!! If you need me to do anything like take the boys for a walk, or just sit in the house while she sleeps and you can take them for a walk... just let me know!! Call me!
Sophia, along with all of you, are definately in my prayers. Thank God for parent's intuition and getting her to the doctor right away. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future - Jeremiah 29:11" Love and prayers are coming your way - Debbie

I'm so sorry to hear about Sophia. She will be in my prayers. Keep us updated!
I will be praying for Sophie and for each and every one of you. I only had one child and at the time he was growing up we had soo much less medical knowledge. We always had to rely on Mommy and Daddy
"gut knowledge" which was usally okay, but it is fantastic that they were able to find this early and have antibiotics to give and parents who will administer the treatments as necessary . Nothing more that you could do to keep it
happening. As parents we do the absolute best that we can for our children that we love and would give our lives for and we rely on God. He knows each one of us intimately and loves each one of us. Hope to hear good news soon.
