Thursday's Truth
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I was just reading that scripture last night and I am putting it on my fridge! How funny that you are the first post in my Google Reader when I log in this morning...guess I really needed to hear it :)
Have you read Crazy Love? Chapter 2 has an awesome quote about stress and worry...that's going on the ol' fridge today too!
So thankful for these verses this morning, Mari. Writing them on my heart as we face this uncertainty...
I love your Thursday's Truths, and the fun pictures to go with them. :-)
Your blessed kids always bring me joy. I read that the best way to stay positive is to always be grateful - and your posts always speak to that and all God does. Love ya - Debbie
I am enjoying these little posts each Thursday, I hope you do them for a long time! The encouragement of God is so comforting - and the pictures are great too! Love you all.
Love this thursdays truth and you too!!!
Hi, I just recently came across your blog, and let me say, I am amazed at how you do what you do. My husband and I were curious where you came up with the name Cohen. We have it picked out for our little boy, but we thought we were the only ones. It's not in any baby books, or online anywhere, and we've heard it as a last name and loved it!!! Just curious, and wanting to let you know you are always in our prayers!
Hi K - Thanks for the note. We just really liked the last name Cohen and thought it'd be a great boy's name. Plus, it means "Bold Counsel" and Cohen led the way for the group by being the first born so we thought that it would be fitting. Thanks so much for your prayers! -Mari
