It's All About the Runabout!

We've tried everything to get around having to purchase the stately quad stroller that must be a New England Patriots mascot alternate and is known as The Runabout. I had heard that it doesn't fit into elevators and is a bear to travel with. But we finally gave in and decided we'd avoid all tall buildings and purchase the hitch connector for easy voyaging. Let me tell you, I am a happy woman today as I got to get out to go jogging with my four babies in tow. This thing is amazing. It's lighter than most single strollers and if you can remember not to push down too hard on the back so as not to tip it (no worries, there is a safety bar so they won't fall too far to the ground) it's a piece of cake! Plus, it motivates me to keep jogging at a quick pace since we always have an audience with all of the curious passerbys. Thank you, Runabout! We love our new ride!
My New Workout Partners
The babies are all getting so big. We weigh them weekly at home and they are growing like weeds. Cohen is the biggest at 15# 7.5 oz, then Finn at 13# 12.5 oz, next Sophia at 12# 12.5 oz and finally Noah at 11# 1.5 oz! We have lots of smiles, laughter and a few squeals (we love you, Noah!) which all far outweigh the crying these days!

P.S. The K-kiddos loved the new ride -"awesome", "way cool", - and my favorite "I would like to ride in that".

Glad to hear that you have the freedom of the beast. I wish we had some TX weather to use ours. It's a bang-up, but it still gets us out! =)
Thanks for the love linkage. Cracks me up! How boring would 1 baby be now, huh?

Hey Mari and Chris,

We miss you at Church. I think of you guys often. I am so glad you got your Run-about. I loved having the freedom when I got my triple stroller. It was great to be able to get out for some fresh air everyday!!! I remember going for a walk or going to the store and people asking if the kids were all mine--I wanted to say that I had decided to bring all of the neighbors kids with me, but I just smiled and shook my head yes. I am very sure you are getting this question and the wide eyed stares everywhere you go.

Keep enjoying every moment.

Take Care,
Amy Hibbard

Your blog ws added to our prayer and support page when the babies were a few weeks old. Since then we have continued to lift up your family in prayers and leave little notes from time to time in your guest book. We have since changed our standards on how to add links to our website. So if you could find a few free moments to send the correct information to Laura, or to check out our website and our mission if you haven't been there yet. We would all love to continue to check on your babies and lift your family up in prayers. Thank you. Again you are doing a wonderful job with the quads.
Dear Friends,

Asher and Jacob's Friends is working hard to strengthen the regulations regarding when a link is posted on our site. This is for three reasons (1) to protect the privacy of the family (2) to protect our site from legal issues (3) to take a step towards becoming a foundation. It is very important to us that a family has the choice to have their site posted and we apologize for not taking this step sooner.

We know many of you are facing serious situations at the moment and we apologize for adding yet another burden to your plate. It is our hope you understand that we would not be doing this if it was not necessary. We are asking EVERY family that would like to remain on the site respond to this email by emailing back to Laura: a copy of the registration form completed. We know many of you have been on this site for a while and have made it clear to us you wanted to be added. Right now though, this is not enough. If you never filled out this form, it must be done! Please complete this form by April 8, 2008 otherwise you will be removed.

If you never wanted to be on the list or didn't even know you were on it, I apologize deeply. It was never our intention to hurt you in any way or to take away your right to privacy. This is the reason we are doing this now, as we recognize how out of control the site became. We have always had good intentions but we know good intentions is not enough. Please contact Laura if you would like to discuss this further.

Thank you so much for taking time to do this. Please know our prayers are with all of your families. If there is ever anything you need, please let us know. May God bless all of you as you continue on your journey.

Laura Lynn and all at Asher and Jacob's Friends
