With the grandparents graciously coming all the way from Iowa to babysit the kiddos while Chris and I go on vacation, I thought a lesson in the language we speak around here might be helpful. The kids say lots of simple words that are pretty clear. It's the more obscure words that I thought they'd like a little practice with. The video below should have them fluent in no time. Just 26 days to study!
Oh my goodness...........precious, hysterical, adorable, and absolutely priceless! We are going on a cruise soon and I have started a list for MY parents who are watching our girls, but I never thought to put it on video...what a great idea! Our twins have many similar words, they sound just like your foursome when they say outside and thank you! My personal favorite at our house is "PEASE!!" (please) Great post!
I think I could weep over the preciousness captured in that video. Goodness Gracious! Those Little blondies Melt My Heart. And then Sophia is just about too much for me to handle. They are such SMARTIES! Love to ALL!
I can't believe they're old enough to talk! It seems just yesterday you were telling me you were having quads! Now they're big kids! :) Very, very cute! The boys love watching the videos and picts!
What great fun. I loved it at 1 a.m. when I got home, and I still love it, especially your dictionary guide for pronouncing the words and their definitions. Love to all and can't wait to see you, soon!
omg mare!!! we were watching this video with chris---just absolutely adorable!!! noah's thank you just about did me in. soooo precious. LOVE YOU!!! wish you guys were all here!!!
I wandered this way from Suz's blog and the video reminds me of time I spent teaching & living in Denmark while in college! The Danish word for mother is mor... pronounced EXACTLY how your kiddos say it. I just kept giggling everytime the kid of my host family would call for his mom; it made me think of the scene from Oliver Twist. =)
We are parents to three rambunctious boys and one even more rambunctious little girl who were all born in the same minute of the same day in August of 2007. This entire journey has allowed us to witness everyday miracles and proves to us that God is very much alive and walking among us. Great challenge has come with the miracles and we are learning to choose to be joyful through the daily tests. This blog is a collection of memories and a look at how we learn to grow more mature in our faith even as our faith is stretched to the max at times. Thank you for walking it with us, your encouragement and prayers are such a blessing to our family.
